Sid, Answer to your questions: 1. how to decide where to crop? I just play around with different crops until one works for me. I love having the eyes be the centerpiece and leaving some empty space to draw out the eyes. 2. I use different methods on the backgrounds. If it is black, I may just select it and then pour in true black. If it is something else, I may select it and begin tweeking brightness and gaussian blur to soften it up a bit. thanks for stopping by. Your pics are great! I love the senior editing that you did, very cool!
On August 6, 2005 I married a friend- he is now my best friend, my confidante, and one of my daily blessings. He helped bring God's creation to being... we welcomed my other daily blessing to the world on November 18, 2008!
For 200 days of the year I get coughed on, talked over, and the occasional mean look. I hear multiple voices daily and they all say multiple things and request different things of me- all at the same time. I play mommy/daddy, doctor, friend, and therapist ;)I get stomach kisses, breath taking hugs and other reminders that I am loved and appreciated. I am a 1st grade teacher and I love it!

Cool! I love how the edges really show up even though the rest of the photo is lighter.
